Art is for everyone! At Local Color Studio, you'll find your creativity and artistic abilities fully supported by the loving community at Local Color. The studio is designed to revolve around community, ranging from studio spaces home to their artist residents to offering classes for creatives of all skill levels to take part in!

Day Passes

Art Studio Day Pass

  • Independent work in community, six semi-private cubicles, or easel space
  • Includes one creative base (canvas/paper/clay)
  • Use of house supplies, equipment and media
  • Additional creative bases available for purchase

Ceramics Studio Day Pass

  • Includes 5 lbs of clay
  • Independent work on wheel or handbuilding area
  • Can use wheels if trained or experienced
  • Use of house supplies, equipment and media
  • Includes bisque fire + house underglazes + clear dip and glaze fire
  • Additional clay available for purchase

Artist Market

On the First Friday of every month, Local Color Studio hosts an artist market, where art is showcased for sale by local artists, accompanied by live music and live painting! This event brings people of all backgrounds together in a creative environment to enjoy the artistic spirit of this vibrant art space. Classes

From classes for pottery, painting, photography, stained glass workshops, and so much more, Local Color Studio provides a wide range of artistic skills you can learn! It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an experienced artist, these classes will cater to your abilities! Shanna Coulter, owner of Local Color Studio, often runs house classes, but many artists come here to teach workshops and specialty classes as well!

Live Music

Local Color Studio is much more than just an art studio. Every Friday night you can find some of the most talented musicians performing in this vibrant art space.
