Annual Events

One of Canton’s most famous events is our First Fridays. We shut down the road in downtown Canton and set up a stage with a band performing. People bring chairs, eat food from local restaurants or vendors at the event, and it makes for the perfect Friday night activity.

For those who love local and homegrown, join us at the Canton Farmer’s Market from 9AM-12:30PM. Whether you want homegrown vegetables or dog treats, there’s a mix of everything.

Another event that gives the whole experience of Canton’s all about is Canton River Rock. This takes place at Etowah River Park and is a concert and festival from 6-10PM.

Other must-see events include the Taste & Brews Festival, Wing & Rock Fest, and Denim Fest. If you love good ole' fashioned Southern food and the brisk taste of a cold brew, you can't miss these events!

On top of these huge events, there's plenty of other annual events that showcase the city's diverse culture and shine light on the city of Canton, like the Multicultural Fest, West Main Arts Festival, and the Riverfest Arts & Crafts Festival.
