Photo Policy

Explore Canton grants permission to view, copy, download, and print photo assets in accordance with the terms outlined below. All use must be directly related to promoting Canton as a travel and visitor destination or to support recognized Explore Canton brands and campaigns. The following conditions apply to all uses:

1. Images and video assets may not be shared, posted, or distributed for any purpose outside of promoting Canton as a destination consistent with this policy.

2. Images must remain in their original, unedited form and may not be manipulated or altered.

3. Logos, photography, b-roll footage, area maps, and written content must be used as provided and may not be changed in any way.

4. Assets may not be used for commercial purposes, paid client work, or any for-profit application without prior written consent from Explore Canton.

5. All copyright, trademark, and proprietary notices must be preserved. Photo and video assets must include the credit line "Courtesy of Explore Canton" unless different attribution is specified at the time assets are delivered.

Any use of the Explore Canton logo or a hyperlink to our website on printed materials or digital platforms requires advance review and approval by Explore Canton. If approval is granted, all materials must be submitted to Explore Canton before going into production to confirm proper adherence to brand and style guidelines. A final copy of any printed piece must also be shared with Explore Canton upon completion.

Assets may not be used in any way that Explore Canton deems obscene, defamatory, unlawful, or damaging to the reputation of Explore Canton or the City of Canton as a destination.
