Film Screening: This World is Not My Own - Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers

Join us Sunday, March 30th at 2pm for the fifth film in the Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers. This free screening will feature the documentary "This World is Not My Own", followed by a panel discussion with Petter Ringbom (Director, Writer, and Cinematographer), Ruchi Mital (Writer and Producer ), and Cathi Perry (Family Member), moderated by the Peabody Film Festival Founder Brent Zaffino-Lambert. Special thanks to the Fox Theatre for their partnership in bringing this program to the Canton Theatre.

This World is Not My Own reimagines this self-taught artist’s world and her life spanning the 20th century. With Uzo Aduba as the animated version of Nellie Mae Rowe.
