Twice as Nice: The Troubadour Project and Radio 80s Band Double the First Friday fun this June!
No, that's not a typo; there really are two First Friday concerts happening in Downtown Canton this June! Mother Nature had other plans in May, when rain postponed the much-anticipated season-debut performance by Radio 80s Band. Instead of canceling, the City of Canton added them to the June lineup, following the incredible Troubadour Project, giving us two unforgettable evenings in Downtown Canton to look forward to.
What are First Fridays?
If you're new around here, First Fridays mean that it's officially summer in Canton. Join us each month for the ultimate street party that turns Downtown into an open-air concert venue. East Main Street is closed to traffic as the community and live music take over Cannon Park. Come early and grab dinner at one of Downtown Canton's acclaimed restaurants, or stay close to the action with a bite from some of the hottest the local food trucks lined along East Main. Classic car enthusiasts will also want to check out the car cruise-in, featuring vintage rides and meticulous restorations.
First Fridays are all about bringing the community together to kick off the weekend and they're completely free to attend. As always, parking in Downtown Canton is also free. View the Downtown Parking Map here. You can also park for free at The Mill on Etowah and take the complimentary shuttle to the event. Shuttle pickup is located next to Community Burger at the flagpole.
Know before you go
Here's the rundown of everything you need to know before you get here:

⌚ The festivities kick off at 6 p.m., but we encourage you to arrive early to experience everything Downtown Canton has to offer!
