As the new year unfolds, Canton keeps the winter fun going strong with Rink on the River at The Mill on Etowah. This seasonal tradition has become a favorite for locals and visitors alike. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your time on the ice!

What is it?

In the winter months, The Mill on Etowah transforms into a festive wonderland with charming lights, outdoor fire pits, and of course, Rink on The River - Cherokee County's only seasonal ice rink!

Grab your family and friends, or hit the ice solo, and glide under the twinkling lights of this indoor ice rink that is open rain or shine! Whether you're a pro on the ice or it's your first time putting on skates, the rink is a fun and laid-back environment for skaters of all skill levels.

When to Visit

December may be wrapping up, but don't worry! Rink on the River is keeping things festive and is open until January 20th! Check out the hours below and plan your visit:

Normal Hours:

Sunday: 12 PM - 8 PM

Monday: Closed

Tuesday - Thursday: 4 PM - 8 PM

Friday: 4 PM - 10 PMSaturday: 11 AM - 9 PM

Special January Weekends:

January 10th: 4 PM - 10 PM

January 11th: 11 AM - 9 PM

January 12th: 12 PM - 8 PM

January 17th: 4 PM - 10 PM

January 18th: 11 AM - 9 PM

January 19th: 12 PM - 8 PM

Final Day:

January 20th: 12 PM - 6 PM

Note: Rink on the River is closed January 6th-9th & January 13th-16th
