Outside the building, three sculptures by artist Huelani Mei Fogelman represent pivotal aspects of Cherokee County’s heritage, including its indigenous peoples and agricultural roots.
In addition to the museum's permanent displays, be sure to check out their rotating temporary exhibits throughout the year! Until the end of February, visitors can can discover A Century of Toys - a special collection of toys that shaped the childhoods of generations of Cherokee County residents. You will also want to keep an eye on the History Center's events calendar, as it is constantly being updated with must-attend events that embrace Cherokee County's roots.
