First Friday: A Canton Favorite

Every first Friday from now through October, the streets of Historic Downtown Canton come alive with music, food, and community spirit for one of the City’s most beloved events: First Friday.

Mark Wills: A Night to Remember

Get ready for an unforgettable evening as Canton First Friday presents CMA award winner, Grand Ole Opry member, and country music legend Mark Wills on July 5th! Known for his chart-topping hits like "19 Somethin'," "Jacob's Ladder," and "Don't Laugh at Me," Mark Wills is set to light up the stage in the heart of Historic Downtown Canton. You've never been to a First Friday like this!

Be sure to stay until the end of the show for a very special surprise (trust us, you don’t want to miss this!)

Setting the Stage: Tyson Leamon

The evening kicks off with a performance by local favorite Tyson Leamon, whose dynamic stage presence is sure to set the tone for a night filled with great tunes and good vibes. His 2021 debut album, "Guitar and a Bible," features the singles "Can't Get Enough of You" and "Day After Whiskey." But Tyson is just getting started! Keep an eye out for his upcoming album later this year!

Mark your calendars for July 5th and make your way to Main Street for a night you’ll be talking about all summer long. Chairs and picnic blankets can be placed in Cannon Park from 7AM on the day of the show.

Parking is free in Downtown Canton (click here for a parking map), including at The Mill on Etowah, where a free shuttle will be provided to those who choose to park there.

Whether you're a longtime fan of Mark Wills or discovering his music for the first time, his First Friday performance is guaranteed to be a highlight of the season. This is a FREE non-ticketed event! We look forward to seeing you there!
