Country music superstar Sammy Kershaw headlines River Rock Concert Series on June 21

After a packed crowd rocked out to Electric Avenue and Rock the 90s in May, the River Rock Concert Series presents two more powerhouse artists this June: multi-platinum country star Sammy Kershaw, with support from up-and-coming favorite Drake Milligan.

More than just Rock

Don’t let the name fool you. The River Rock Concert Series spans across genres, and this summer, that includes a strong dose of country. Held at the outdoor amphitheater in Etowah River Park, River Rock is Canton's largest annual music series and one of the City’s most anticipated summer traditions.

Each show is free to attend, with no tickets required. Free parking is also available on-site, with attendants ready to help you find the closest open space (see parking map below).

Alongside the music, River Rock features a rotating lineup of local food trucks, so come prepared to try something delicious. For families, the Kids Zone near the stage offers inflatables and activities to keep young concertgoers happy while parents enjoy the show.

Rising Star Drake Milligan Opens the Night

After gaining national attention as a finalist on America's Got Talent, Drake Milligan launched his debut album Dallas/Fort Worth, which quickly climbed the iTunes charts and introduced a fresh but familiar sound rooted in country tradition and a little rock 'n roll. Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Milligan grew up on George Strait, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, George Jones, and Elvis. That foundation shaped a signature blend of honky-tonk and rockabilly that's made him one of the fastest rising voices in Nashville.

Since then, he has taken his unique sound to sold-out crowds across the country, from Billy Bob's Texas to the Grand Ole Opry. Now, he's bringing it to Canton's River Rock Stage, kicking off a can't-miss night of country music under the stars.

A Country Legend takes the Stage

River Rock keeps the June lineup strong with a true legend of country music: Sammy Kershaw.

With three platinum albums, six gold records, and nearly 100 million songs sold and streamed, Kershaw's name has become synonymous with '90s country.

Raised in Kaplan, Louisiana, Kershaw was opening for country icons since he was just a teenager. George Jones took notice early and became both a mentor and an influence, a connection that fans and critics have picked up on throughout Kershaw’s work. His chart-topping singles and albums have earned him loyal fan base that continues to pack out venues across North America, and now the Etowah River Park Amphitheatre!
