Chris Cagle Closes out the 2025 First Friday Season on Oct. 3
It's hard to believe how quickly summer has flown by. As fall approaches and the leaves on Downtown Canton's ginko trees turn their signature gold, we have one more epic headliner to close the First Friday season out with a bang. Join us on October 3, when country music icon Chris Cagle takes the stage in Downtown Canton for one more celebration of the weekend.
All About First Fridays
First Friday is Canton's ultimate Downtown block party! Throughout the year, we've had locals and visitors join us as we transformed East Main Street into an open-air concert venue, hosting some of the best local and internationally-recognized musicians.
You'll want to get here early to grab dinner at one of Downtown Canton's acclaimed restaurants, or stay close to the action with a bite from the standout lineup of local food trucks positioned along East Main. Classic car enthusiasts will also want to check out the car cruise-in, featuring meticulously restored vintage rides.
First Fridays are all about bringing the community together to kick off the weekend and they're completely free to attend. As always, parking in Downtown Canton is also free. You can also park for free at The Mill on Etowah and take the complimentary shuttle to the event. Shuttle pickup is located next to Community Burger at the flagpole.
Know Before You Go
📍First Friday events take place at Cannon Park (130 East Main St., Canton, GA) and along East Main Street in Historic Downtown Canton.
⌚ The festivities kick off at 6 p.m., but we encourage you to arrive early to experience everything Downtown Canton has to offer!
🚗Street parking on East Main Street is unavailable during First Friday events, but there is plenty of free parking just a few steps away. Be sure to check out our Downtown parking map HERE for more information. Alternatively, catch the free park & ride shuttle from The Mill on Etowah (the pickup point is at the flag pole adjacent to Community Burger and Rock N Roll Sushi.)
🪑Lawn chairs are welcome, but please do not set them out before 7 a.m. on the day of the show - they will be subject to removal. For everyone's safety, we also ask that walkways and flowerbeds are kept clear at all times.
A Finale you won't forget!
We have had a blast celebrating the weekends with our community and a stellar First Friday lineup this year, and we can't wait to end the season strong with you all on October 3rd. First Fridays will return in 2026, but until then, please share your pictures from our epic finale by tagging us on Facebook and Instagram, or using the hashtag #ExploreCantonGA! See you in Downtown!
