Celebrate Culture and Community at the Canton Multicultural Festival

On Saturday, October 11, from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m., Harmon Park will come alive with music, food, and culture during the Canton Multicultural Festival. This free community event is a celebration of the unique cultures and traditions from around the world that collectively make up our City.

A Taste of the World

One of the highlights of the festival is the chance to sample authentic dishes from around the world.

This year, visitors can enjoy free tastings from vendors representing Peru, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela, El Salvador, Mexico, Nigeria, Cuba, the United States, Native American traditions, Italy, and France.

It’s a unique opportunity to explore new flavors you might not have tried before and connect with the heritage behind them.

Live Performances from Around the Globe

In addition to the delicious tastings on offer, the festival stage will be alive with music and dance demonstrations from around the world. Check out the full lineup of performers and schedule below!

5:00 PM – Laotian American Society (Laotian Dancers)
5:20 PM – Los Amigos Music (Mariachi Band)
6:15 PM – UPCI (United Pentecostal Church International) Musical Performance
6:50 PM – Rolling Thunder (Native American Dancers)
7:10 PM – Tom Crawford (Bagpiper)
7:30 PM – Dance Brasil Entertainment (Samba Dancers & Drummers)
8:00 PM – Closing Ceremony

Mayor's Cup Soccer Tournament

Kicking off the Multicultural Festival at 4:30 p.m. on the new Harmon Park soccer pitch is the Mayor’s Cup soccer tournament!

New and returning teams will face off once again for the chance to take home this year's trophy, which will be presented on the festival stage during the closing ceremony.

This high-energy tournament has become a staple of the Multicultural Festival, drawing bigger crowds each year. With the stakes higher than ever, who will take home the Mayor’s Cup this time?

Easy Parking and Free Shuttle Service

Getting to the festival is simple. While the surface lot at Harmon Park will be closed to traffic for the Festival, free parking will be available at the American Legion, located at 160 McClure Street, just steps from Harmon Park. A complimentary shuttle will also be running between the parking area and the event for added convenience. Additionally, Harmon Park's close proximity to Downtown Canton and the Sunnyside community make it extremely walkable for those in the area who choose not to drive.
