Hear, Here! Georgia Marble with Bill Cagle
Overview
Join Bill Cagle, author of The Road to Georgia Marble, to learn more about Georgia’s marble industry. Bill Cagle is a sixth-generation resident of Pickens County with family roots dating back to the 1830s. His family first became involved in the marble industry in the 1920s and continue with Bill’s involvement as a tour guide during the annual Georgia Marble Festival. Bill’s book shares the history of Georgia’s marble industry in Pickens County and many first-hand stories about Georgia Marble.
